The members of Kulin Suri have a wealth of knowledge and practical ideas to assist you make your property work efficiently and easily. Have you considered your bio-security issues? Lane way setup? Gate positioning? How can shelter belts be of benefit? What needs to be considered if one person is to manage the farm? What is the most nutritious pasture for alpaca? Do alpacas need to be hand fed? What injections need to be administered and when? How do you halter train an alpaca? What does the alpaca breeder need to know about alpaca communication? The workshops are a whole day and cover many topics including general husbandry, how to distinguish the good the bad and the ugly Alpaca, and farm setup. Kulin Suri is happy to assist you with your Suri shearing needs. Alpacas are shorn on site and must be brought to the shearing location. If you are unable to transport your animals, transport can be arranged.
